1) Biggest city in the world ummm…what?

Had no idea Indonesia had the largest city in the world, over 5 million greater than Tokyo…41 million. For context, New York has ~14 million.

2) Nigeria’s Population whaaaaat!

So apparently Nigeria’s population alone is >2/3 the population of the US.

3) India and Africa

Annnndd apparently Indias population in over 90% population of all of Africa.

4) Life Expectancy… wow.

Just over 100 years ago, life expectancy was ~45 years in the Americas. Its somewhere in the high 70s now.


5) GDP per capita, wowwww

Sooooo…. pretty much Industrial Revolution ~1760-1840s (Wikepedia) and then how much we were making per person skyrocketed. Already adjusted for inflation, that’s nuts.
