This Week’s Realizations

Apparently, you can just go up to Rando’s and ask them to hang out.

My roommate and I have been indoctrinated into a new climbing group because some rando came up and asked to climb with him.

News to me. I think I forget that other people are also looking for friends… All you have to say is ‘Hey, want to be friends’. Genuinely that’s it.

Every time I meet an uber-social person I am blown away by how easy it is for them to make friends. They always remind me that there’s absolutely nothing stopping you from introducing and talking to strangers. The worst thing that happens is they say no… the best thing? I’ll let you dream.

Note to self – Talk to strangers more often.
